Jon
Jonathan ("Higgy") Higgins is a young man who values family and tradition. Both of his grandfathers, his father and an uncle all served in the military, so he did the same. At 18 years old, he joined the Air Force. He spent three-and-a-half years in Montana and one-and-half years in Baghdad that changed his life. The experiences, many of them difficult beyond what most will ever have to deal with, are not what define, him, however it is how he handled and continues to handle them today that says so much:
"I did what I had to do," he says.
When he returned to Concord, the city he was born and raised in, Denon & Doyle welcomed "Higgy" back with open arms."Back" because his first round with us, as a teenager from Concord High, went so well. His return to us was a no-brainer.
He proved himself with his attention to detail and ability to improvise as our type of guy on his first event. He arrived at the event early, preset his equipment and all his music, wanting to be 100% prepared for his emcee and the audience. At the last minute, the prayer table wasn't ready. Without question, Higgy jumped in and made sure the mishap wasnt even noticed. What could have been a disaster or at the very least delineated into a round of finger-pointing became a non-issue. The focus was on the party where it should be.
Outside of making sure the party's always on time in every aspect, he's a self-described jack-of-all-trades. He has a background in sports, music and now, as much as anything else, cars. He enjoys watching UFC and the Raiders (as much as anyone really can "enjoy" them). He also enjoys and appreciates his family more than ever.
Here at Denon & Doyle, were proud to have him as a part of our family.
