From the moment she wakes up, Justina is spinning.
No, that’s not a reference to the turntables and vinyl records she proudly holds claim to, it's just that her life is a whirlwind of sorts. This proud mom of three (don’t get her started on her kids or she’ll never stop), and elementary school teacher of ten years, knows she’s up against the clock from the moment she gets out of bed. The hectic morning and evening routines with her kids are the bookends to… well, books. After dropping the little ones off at school she heads to Alamo to drop knowledge on her students (How cool would it be if your teacher was a DJ?).
This kind of tightly packed schedule is enough to make just about anyone's head spin -- yet this DJette is all smiles. The Bay Area native calmly sorts through what others would consider "chaos" and even has enough energy left to throw on her "Gaels Gone Wild" t-shirt and cheer for her beloved St. Mary's (Alumni, Class of Nunya-business), all while sneaking in a few hundred texts to vote for her cousin on American Idol (yes, he really was on the show).
Busy enough for you? Oh yeah, she’s also a pretty darn good DJ. DJette, if you will. Just watch her spin.
